Miya Sushi

Atmosphere was good. Nice looking space, Japanese style, and quite comfortable. The sashimi are the ones to try. Good range of options on the menu from plenty of sashimi choices, nigiri, sushi and rolls to hot dishes like bento, udon, grilled fishes and meat. We ordered a sashimi boat with 5 different type of fishes, some other sweet Vietnamese fish that no other sushi place provide so that's a big plus for those who wanted to try other things instead of having tuna and salmon sashimi that every sushi place have. And grilled prawns with mentaiko sauce...trust me, it's THE must-try! The smoky grilled prawn, complimented by the mentaiko sauce just bring the dish to a new level of flavour. Might be just me but if you do like it, you can thank me later

I came here on my own and felt very welcome/comfortable throughout my visit. Both the salmon sashimi and tuna maki were fresh and delicious! The waitresses are observant and noticed when I ran out of ginger and was quick to get me more. Would 100% recommend and hope to return soonalso amazing value for money

This place deserves the rating! Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The staff is so friendly and kind. If you love sushi, check this place out! Prices are very reasonable as well

A very good spot for sushi and sashimi selections in Sài Gòn. The price is reasonable and the service is spot on by the staff. The only con is it’s located on a smaller street that’s extremely busy during peak hours, so I’d plan your visit ahead of time. I’ll definitely be coming back here for sashimi.

Definitely not a 4.9* place. Moderate prices for big portions but if it comes to the taste — I have had better Japanese cuisine experiences. The staff don’t speak English. Even online Vietnamese translator didn’t help which means the place doesn’t really care about guests wishes. Saying that I mean I asked the waiter if the suggested tea was hot, he said “yeah” and later served a cold tea. I reminded him that I asked it hot and later after apologizing he brought the same tea but just warmed up (not hot). The rest of the staff just nodded to our questions and left not trying to understand what we were asking about. Udons were good, nothing special. Fried seafood mix with sauce was superb, the same regards sliced beef. My “hot” tea was too sweet, the Sapporo beer was good.

There's several things I wanted to try, so I ordered 3 things. The portion sizes were good. I was expecting them to be a little smaller. So, I was pretty full eating everything. I've never had mapo ramen (only rice) and it's one of my favorite dishes for Asian cuisine. This did not taste great. Maybe the quality was good, but the mapo sauce was a little too sweet-tomatoey. I would not recommend this. Reasonable price, though (95K/$3.70). I tried the salmon rice bowl. I won't say this tasted unbelievable, but it was good. I was impressed with the salmon. I expected it to be sprinkled on top and perhaps not very much. However, the salmon was spread evenly mixed with the rice throughout the whole bowl. There's some fried salmon skin put on top. Reasonable price, considering it's salmon (138K/$5.40) I also tried the kimchi & beef sushi roll (55K/$2.15). They have rolls that are more expensive (100K+), this was one of the cheaper ones. I thought it was pretty good. They only provide a small cup for tea water. I kind of wish they paid more attention to me drinking the water completely so I didn't have to ask for more water. I did ask once, I kind of made sure to be seen finishing off my water a second time. Didn't get another refill. With the dishes (plates, etc.), this is a nicer place. The bar seats were limited, but they weren't very busy. I do think there's another floor that has tables, but I don't know for sure. There's 8% VAT.

I drove by this restaurant many times but only stopped by lastnight when looking for a Sushi place near me. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was efficient and fast. We had a good meal and will come back.

We ate dinner here and were greeted nicely. We were then given a private room which had pretty decor. Also there was nice music coming from speakers. To order you could press a button and the servers would come. There is a huge selection from good quality sushi to ramen and udon. We were amazed how big the menu was! Their drinks are also good. When our food came the presentation was really impressing with steam and everything!! Thanks Miya Sushi for the nice evening
